Cured-in-Place Pipe Lining in Indianapolis
Local, Licensed Trenchless Sewer Repair Since 2013
A failing sewer line doesn’t always mean tearing up your yard. Cured-in-place pipe lining rehabilitates a damaged pipe from the inside: a resin-saturated liner is inserted, inflated against the pipe wall, and cured to form a smooth, seamless pipe within the old one. No trench, no excavation, no destroyed landscaping. We’ve offered this trenchless method to Indianapolis homeowners and businesses since 2013, and all of our services are licensed.
Older homes across Central Indiana are sitting on cast-iron and clay sewer lines that have reached or exceeded their designed service life. Tree root intrusion, freeze-thaw soil shifts, and corrosion are the leading reasons those lines fail. When they do, we handle every step, from the first camera inspection through post-lining verification, under one roof and one licensed company.
Not sure whether your sewer line qualifies for lining? We answer calls 24/7. Call us at (317) 548-0044 and we can walk you through next steps, including Synchrony financing options and warranty information.
Signs Your Sewer Line May Need Attention
Most homeowners notice the symptoms long before they know the cause. These signs suggest a main sewer line problem rather than an isolated clog:
- Slow or gurgling drains throughout the house: not limited to one sink or fixture
- Sewage odors inside the home or around the yard, pointing to a crack or break in the line
- Wet or sunken patches in the yard above where the sewer line runs
- Recurring sewer backups in lower-level drains that keep returning after clearing
A sewer camera inspection is the only reliable way to confirm what’s actually happening inside the pipe. We inspect before we recommend anything, so you know exactly what you’re dealing with before any work begins.
Why Indianapolis Homeowners Call 317 Plumber
We’re a local, family-owned company, not a national franchise. When you call 317 Plumber, you’re talking to a team that knows Indianapolis infrastructure and cares about your property the way a neighbor would.
What sets us apart is the full-service capability we bring to every cured-in-place pipe lining job. We handle camera inspection, hydro jetting preparation, and the lining itself as one coordinated service. You don’t juggle contractors or wonder whether the diagnosis matches the repair.
A few practical things that matter when a sewer line fails:
- Licensed Company: All services are licensed. Our drain and excavation division operates under the same licensed company standards as our plumbing division.
- 24/7 Availability: We answer calls around the clock and offer emergency service when the situation calls for it.
- Transparent Pricing: You receive a quote before work begins, no surprises.
- Synchrony Financing: Sewer repairs can be a significant expense. Ask about Synchrony financing options when you call.
- Warranties: Ask about our warranties on completed work.
Schedule Your Sewer Camera Inspection
If you’re seeing the warning signs or already know you have a pipe problem, the next step is a camera inspection. We can confirm whether cured-in-place pipe lining is the right solution for your property and give you a clear, upfront quote.
We know the 317 because we are the 317. Call 317 Plumber at (317) 548-0044 to schedule your inspection or ask about CIPP pipe lining for your Indianapolis property.
Which Pipes Qualify for CIPP Lining?
Not every damaged sewer line qualifies for cured-in-place lining, and knowing the difference saves you from investing in the wrong repair. We perform a sewer camera inspection before recommending any lining work to confirm the pipe is a suitable candidate.
These pipe materials are commonly rehabilitated with CIPP:
- Cast-iron pipes common in Indianapolis homes built before 1980
- Clay tile pipes found in older Central Indiana neighborhoods
- Concrete sewer pipes in residential and commercial applications
- Some PVC pipes where joints or sections have deteriorated
Active root intrusion doesn’t automatically disqualify a pipe. We can clear root material with hydro jetting and then line the pipe, provided the pipe wall is otherwise intact. A properly cured liner also resists future root intrusion because it has no joints or seams where roots can re-enter.
Lining isn’t appropriate for pipes that have fully collapsed, have severe joint offsets, or have lost too much structural wall to hold a liner during installation. Those situations call for pipe bursting or open-cut replacement. We handle both, and we can tell you honestly which one your pipe needs. 317 Plumber serves residential and commercial properties throughout the Indianapolis area.
